Idaho leads the nation in inflation

Wow, liberal media tells us things are bad under “Bidenomics”. While taking a few days off last week, I came across a story from Boise State Public Radio. You can follow it by clicking here. The worst inflation rate in America is right here at home. The Mountain West region posted 8.6%! That’s not a good sign for Idaho buyers.

Blame Joe Biden?

I keep reading articles in other legacy media publications where writers explain that President Biden can’t do much about the rising cost of living. I’m not sure he’s trying to do anything. The news media can make every possible excuse for their guy in the White House, but the electoral public sees disaster.

Inflation could get worse. It’s also a global problem, according to the Washington Post. Lumber prices are rising again, which means any new home construction project will need to factor in the added costs.

The government printing press is overheated

Journalists cite many factors for the price spike. Blame the pandemic, labor shortages and supply chain issues, however. I rarely see a mention of devalued currency. A few weeks ago I came across a YouTube video about how many dollars are flooded around the world. Two years ago, there were less than five trillion dollars in circulation. Today, the figure is over 20,000 billion! I’ve used the whiskey analogy before. If you have an 80 degree bottle on the wall of the tavern and you start watering it every night after closing, it doesn’t take very long until you get 40 degrees.

I happily spent the last government stimulus check (paid off a debt). For the sake of my country, I don’t need another.

WATCH: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the endless number of memes scattered across the internet, it’s hard to keep track. Just when you grasped the meaning of a hilarious meme, it has already become old news and been replaced by something equally enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for the majority of meme infections, and with constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker scoured internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can become exhausting, memes at their core can also bring people together, as long as they have access to the internet.
